Si hablamos de un lector o visor PDF, de seguro a muchos se les vendrá en mente Adobe Reader, aunque este es el más popular sabemos también que no es el más rápido y cómodo para ver documentos PDF.

En ese sentido es que quiero presentarles una buena alternativa, se trata de SlimPDF Reader, que en primer lugar se destaca por su liviano tamaño, apenas 1. 43 MB su archivo instalador.

SlimPDF Reader es un visor estándar, en inglés, con todas las funcionalidades básicas que se requieren, bastante rápido que es una de sus principales características. En la siguiente imagen se aprecia la ventaja comparativa de peso (o tamaño) con los otros lectores PDF populares.

Gráfica comparativa Lectores PDFPersonalmente solía utilizar Foxit Reader, pero a partir de hoy SlimPDF Reader será mi visor PDF por defecto. Por cierto, es gratuito y compatible con Windows 7/Vista/XP. ¿Qué les parece?

    Realmente,si lo que deseamos es abrir un sencillo documento en PDF,y en la mayoría de los casos es así,no conozco mejor herramienta que esta.También fuí de los que pasó de Adobe Reader a Foxit Reader y finalmente se quedó con Slim PDF Reader.
